“Sunset Boulevard” is the third and final single from Todd’s upcoming sophomore solo album, Empty City, due out digitally on February 16. Empty City will also be available on vinyl.

“Sunset Boulevard” follows 2nd single “You’re Not Real” as well as the lead single and title track from Empty City, an album inspired by film noir. On the latest track from the record, Todd says:

“‘Sunset Boulevard’ was the last song I wrote for Empty City after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in the early Summer of 2022. I saw a lot of parallels between Billy Wilder’s 1950 noir classic, Sunset Boulevard, and the court’s decision in that the majority seemed to be completely out of touch with reality much like the film’s iconic character Norma Desmond, a washed up silent film star whose delusions lead to disaster. I was also so proud and inspired by the women I saw in the streets fighting for the right to control their own bodies — a right that no court should be the arbiter of.”
